The Wild Cherry Resort is an upscale RV and Motor Coach Resort also with rustic camping in the woods. Located just north of Traverse City and 2.5 miles west of Suttons Bay, Michigan. The park is located on a cherry and apple fruit farm that is operated by the Spinniken family, a 7^th generation family that had moved here from Germany. This 200 acre working fruit farm produces both sweet and tart cherries as well as fresh apples.
The RV park is surrounded by cherry trees and 30 acres of woods for hiking and rustic camping for your enjoyment. We have 50 full service sites that provide you with cement patio, picnic table, water, electricity 20/30/50amp, sanitary sewer, and local wifi. The park surrounds a 4 acre lake which is bordered by two golf holes and a driving range which is located above sites 1-17. The club house which is called the “Cherry Bark Lodge” is currently built to the first stage! Stage 2 will be to add wing with a bathroom facility and stage 3 will be to add another wing for events and to ad the Pool. The lodge is a full log chinked building with an amazing  fireplace The Cherry Bark Lodge is available for your individual use as well as Rally Groups, wedding and privet .Events
Take a tour of the 20 local wineries, visit the local Casino's, or the quaint villages of Leland, Lake Leelanau, Northport or Suttons Bay. We are just a short drive from Traverse City but a long way from the traffic and congestion. Leelanau is an amazing county with miles and miles of beaches and lakes. There are lots to do from fishing, hunting,water sports hiking, biking. Leelanau has it all!
